Kelly Ryerson, MBA, IHC
Glyphosate Girl
In coping with and ultimately healing my own chronic illness through diet change, toxin removal, and vitamin replenishment, I spent years studying intestinal permeability, the microbiome, and environmental toxins. What began as a personal journey evolved into a deep investigation into why so many of my family members and friends were also falling ill. The patterns often traced back to the same root causes. With the rapid growth of research on the gut and exposome, we now have a clearer scientific understanding of how chemical agriculture has led to an alarming rise in chronic disease.
Six in ten adults in the U.S. live with a chronic disease, and four in ten have two or more. More than half of American children now face chronic health issues before adulthood. There is one common thread: what we eat. Our industrial food system, saturated with pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic inputs, has made the urgent need for clean, nutrient-dense food more critical than ever. Time is running out to reverse course.
I work at the intersection of agriculture and human health, collaborating with farmers, scientists, policymakers, and media to expose and address the damage agrochemicals cause to our soil and our bodies. In addition to founding Glyphosate Facts and blogging from the first three glyphosate cancer trials, I have contributed to several documentaries, podcasts, and publications. I am the Co-Executive Director of the regenerative farming project American Regeneration and serve as an ambassador for the Rodale Institute.
I have a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College, an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business with a focus in Healthcare Public Management, and completed training in Integrative Health Coaching at Duke Integrative Medicine.
